ABOUT ME
Laura Ortiz
I was born and raised in Madrid, Spain, but I also lived in France, Ireland, Austria, and the US. I moved to Miami in 2017. I love this city’s mix of cultures and diversity, the endless summer, and the exuberant nature you can find in Florida.
I studied Journalism because I like to communicate. I also graduated in International Relations because I wanted to know more about the world.
I am passionate about movement. Sport has been a need, a constant, and a philosophy in my life. I discovered Pilates thanks to my injuries. It was a crush at first sight. I have trained with schools such as Polestar or Balanced Body, where I learned a different way of understanding movement. I am a Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) and a Pilates Method Alliance (PMA) member. I am also a Low Pressure Fitness certified trainer, a hypopressive technique. I had and still have the best teachers: my mentors, my injuries, and my students. I am in permanent learning.
I want to create a space where people can recharge their energy and disconnect from the daily frenzy. In this crazy world, I see more and more need to return to our roots and connect with our essence.
